The Children's Literacy Center will use the Give! campaign to increase funds and awareness for our Peak Reader Program, including our newest community tutoring site "Ft. Read" at Ft. Carson.
The Give! Campaign is a new and unique opportunity for us to identify new donors, especially from the 18-35 demographic. We're hoping you'll encourage your friends and relatives to utilize Give! incentives to put them in a charitable frame of mind.
The first 1,000 people who give more than $25 to Give! between now and midnight, December 31, will receive special gift cards good for:
- a two-scoop sundae from Colorado City Creamery
- a slice of cheese pizza from Poor Richard’s Restaurant
- a bicycle repair kit from Old Town Bike Shop
- a pound of natural hamburger from Ranch Foods Direct
- a haircut from the Paul Mitchell School
- a coffee and bagel from Panera Bread
- a $5 Gift Card to the ReStore
- a two-hour pass from Mr. Biggs Family Fun Center
- a paraffin hand treatment from VEDA Salon & Spa
- a set of tacos from La’au’s Taco Shop
- one ticket to any Thursday or Sunday Manitou Art Theatre premiere series show
- a $4.99-value Comcast Video OnDemand coupon for one movie
- a pint of beer from Bristol Brewing Company
- two drink coupons for the Deco Lounge at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center from the FAC Theatre Company

PLUS… The more you give, the more you get!
The first 250 gifts of $125 or more, you’ll also get admission to a Spring 2010 free pitching clinic for kids 9-19 run by Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Goose Gossage.
And the first 125 donors of $1,000 or more, not only get all of the above, but also a complimentary night at the historic Cliff House in Manitou Springs, a $100 gift certificate to Luisa Graff Jewelers along with coffee, lunch, a beer or all three with your choice of Independent Publisher John Weiss, Executive Editor Ralph Routon or columnist Rich Tosches.
